Maurice Akueme Foundation(MAF) Bursary Award For Udi Local Government Area Students in its Continuous Support to the Executive Governor of Enugu State on Education
The President and founder of Maurice Akueme Foundation in person of Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme has approved nothing less than #2,000,000 (two million naira) for bursary award for indigent students of Udi Local Government Area.
Akueme in his usual way of supporting the government of Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has doled out a whooping sum of two million naira.
In his post on Facebook, he reiterated his total and unwavering support to the executive governor of Enugu state on education.
He said Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi is his leader and that he will continue to support his government in every way possible.
He said leadership is not easy and therefore uneasy lies the head that wears the crown.
According to him, the MAF bursary is meant to be awarded to at least 100 Udians who are studying in any higher institution of learning across the world.
Furthermore he said Charity begins at home and spreads across every nook and cranny.
In his exact words; “we are building a global Maurice Akueme Foundation, we are starting with Udi on this bursary because charity begins at home and spreads across every nook and cranny.
“We will not relent in giving alms to the needy come what may, our utmost support goes to our peace living governor and we keep supporting his wonderful initiatives towards the welfare of students.
“I enjoin all students of Enugu decent especially those of Udi to continually support the existing peace in the state under the care of Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi”.

Eligibility For MAF Bursary
The Maurice Akueme Foundation Bursary for Udi students has mapped out its eligibility yo qualify for the bursary as follows;
Identification Letter from UDI Local Government Area.
National Association of UDI Students(NAUS) membership.
Authentic School ID Card/School Login Details/ Letter from HoD.
Applicants are expected to visit the head office of Maurice Akueme Foundation at 96 Zik Avenue, Enugu to pick their forms for free.
The foundation will verify all documents after submission.
The National coordinator of the foundation Hon Mike CJ Madu when contacted by some news men confirmed to this while inviting all UDI students to take this opportunity seriously as closing date for registration remains 31st March, 2021.
