Maurice Akueme Foundation Kicks off Tour to all Secondary Schools in Oji-River Local Government Area in its Continuous Support to Governor Ugwuanyi on Student Development and Empowerment
The Maurice Akueme Foundation first after its inaugural meeting has mapped out its lined up activities and dream for Oji-River MAF Chapter to start with a tour to all the secondary schools in Oji-River.
According to the founder; Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme, his drive into the tour is in continuance of his unwavering support to the administration of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
Ably led by the National Coordinator Hon Mike CJ Madu on the 22nd of April, 2021; the Maurice Akueme Foundation took a mega visit to Oji-River in its bid to kick off the tour as directed by the founder.
The tour which was jointly commissioned by the National team and the Oji-River force kicked off with a visit to Girls High School Inyi where the best students were immediately selected for scholarship according to the MAF Standard of Questions and Answers(Q&A).
The two students who were selected according to the Q&A are; Cyprih Gift Jss 1 and Chukwukanne Cynthia Jss 3. Meanwhile during a video presence of Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme, he also sighted a physically challenged student whom he for automatic scholarship.

Hon Bona Mbah an indigene of Oji-River and the chapter organizer who introduced the National team, the Sims and objects of MAF to the school urged the school authority to continue to be organized as they do not know when and who will pay an unannounced visit. The National coordinator commended the school management for the level of decorum and order maintained by the students, he also encouraged them to continue to bring up the students in the most disciplined manner and teach them to emulate Gov. Ugwuanyi’s peaceful approach towards crisis and hard times.
The visit according to the Vice principal who stood in the absence of the principal— was a shocker as no one expected such an august visit to their school.
She expressed happiness and promised that the management will not repent in creating a conducive learning atmosphere in the school hence the peaceful nature of the state under the care of Gov. Ugwuanyi.
She eulogized Chief Akueme and prayed for continuity of the foundation.
